Types of Art Certificates

| Visual Art Certificate |
AVI10 |
These courses are recommended for students who are entering the fields of architecture, design, fine art, industrial design and animation. |
An additional two credits in the arts are required to obtain the “Honours” designation. |

If students are pursuing photography, or ceramics at the post-secondary level they may obtain a visual art certificate with the following choices. |

AMR10 and AMR20 are only accredited as half courses and both must be completed to obtain a whole credit. |

| Comprehensive Arts Certificate | Students will obtain a total of six arts credits. Two credits will be at the grade 11 level, and two credits will be at the grade 12 level. |
Students will obtain a total of eight arts credits. At least five of these credits will be at the grade 11 or 12 level. |
