The course is centered around developing products for an imaginary business that the students choose.
The students will use office software, photo editing software and design software to create business letters, articles, business cards, advertisements, spreadsheets and presentations based on their business.
As well they will learn basic web design and create web pages to promote and sell their service or products. The web pages will include Flash ads and movie ads which they will embed into their work. During this process the students will be exposed to programming in HTML and programming logic with the use of Scratch – a visual based programming software package from MIT.
The key to the course is to be creative and explore the software and its capabilities. The only limits in this course will be the limits that you impose on yourself.
