Tycoon Club
The Tycoon Club, the Business Department’s premiere student-led club, is boasting its 5th year here at the Earl! Over forty student members engage in stock market analysis and portfolio generation through Regional and National competitions in partnership with Wilfrid Laurier and Nipissing Universities. The club also participates in Carleton University’s Sprott Business Competition.
Our Tycoons enjoy the multitude of “real-world” hands-on business activities and simulations. Also, Business networking and reference contacts are two of the value-added benefits students and parents have provided in positive feedback.
Several of our students have placed and won regionally and nationally over the past years. Field trips include the Bank of America Trading Floor event, Ticker-Tape Room Standards and Poor Futures Trading, etc.
